As usual, Adam won the game with a clear runaway. Congratulations Adam! As for me, I tuned in late in the game, and I always thought that the Statue of Liberty was located on Ellis Island. Well, the statue is apparently located on Liberty Island (so I guess that we learn something new every day).
Being “Jew-ish”, I got the BB TS. I also, despite never eating there, got the slider TS. 1/3 on DD, but, missed FJ. The second DD, I said “ship”, instead of “soul”. No clue on Hera.
Once again, good challengers with decent totals, but they couldn’t measure up to Adam’s speed, breadth of knowledge, or ability to find the DDs. The first and 3rd DDs very gettable; 2nd one stumped me, as did Final. Good on them for all getting FJ. I knew all 5 of the tennis clues. Wimbledon starts Monday, yay! (The actual answer to the $200 Tennis clue is not the one shown on page 2.)
I fixed it, Howard. I misunderstood that because I don’t know jack about tennis 🎾 !
And now you know that Jack Kramer was one of the all-time great American tennis players. One could argue that they have a place among the world’s greatest athletes.
