@Cece, Alex is getting older. I mean that in a polite way because he does slip up more than he used to years ago in some things he says.

    • Cece says:

I agree with you, Jacob. I’m just not as polite so I’ll say he’s old and, yes, has been slipping more and more the last couple of years. It may be time for him to retire.

  2. Cece says:

Is Alex aware that insecure is not a positive word? Was that monologue at the start of the game necessary? WTH is wrong with Alex?!!

Anyway, I’m glad Buzzy won, regardless. 🙂

    • VJ says:

Yeah that was uncool, esp the way he mocked the gesture that Buzzy made. Well, Buzzy was the only one who got FJ right today so maybe Trebek will knock it off tomorrow.

      • Cece says:

What was the significance of that gesture, btw? Someone should warn Alex to knock it off or they will turn him into a goon, lol. I just saw your other comment and the video. Very cute. 🙂
(I’m OK with bopping mice on the head though.). 🙂

        • VJ says:

I usually associate the particular gesture Buzzy did with brushing something unimportant off your shoulder.

But I have seen many people do that in a slightly different way back East (blow on the hand first, then brush the shoulder). It is understood to be a statement of being proud of something you did, so I took it that way.

Maybe Jacob and Rhonda have seen it too, and can explain better than me.

LOL, Cece, I would pay money to have that good fairy show up on Jeopardy!

        • rhonda says:

That’s how I’ve seen the gesture, too, VJ. You explained it very well. I don’t understand why Alex continues to be so rude to Buzzy either. Yet he adored the dancing drumstick contestant, who was so very obnoxious.

        • VJ says:

Thanks Rhonda. Hey, I just thought of something – maybe Buzzy was anticipating Alex pointing out his win from second place and meant to signify to folks who know him that he’s brushing off the snipes right when his 3-day total was showing in front of him

        • rhonda says:

Perhaps that is what he was doing, you might have something there, VJ. Hoping Buzzy wins again tonight and that Alex keeps his snide remarks to himself.

  3. Lou says:

Go Buzzy! I knew he would make a comeback and win another game today. But I hope he wins the next game before the start of the teacher’s tournament and the Power players week

  4. Richard Corliss says:

    Yes, yay, yay! =))))
