Only ONE of the contestants got Final Jeopardy! right.
Baskin Robbins’ “31” logo represents an ice cream flavor for each day of the month. Since 1945, they have gone on to create over 1,300 flavors but still “Celebrate 31” with a promotion on the 31st of day of each month that has 31 days. Alex said they offer their ice cream scoops for $1.31. Apparently, he hasn’t checked their Facebook page. The scoops have gone up to $1.50.
An old clue from 1995: SCIENCE ($500) Quarks have six known ones of these, which is far short of Baskin-Robbins
Madeline wrote down “Thirty One.” She lost her $2,600 bet, leaving her with $1,600.
Kevin got it right. His $3,900 bet brought him up to $16,300.

Hey vj, you have kids in your family that likes baskin-robbins right? Do you know what their favorite flavors are? Also compared to Ben and Jerry’s, baskin robbins has a lot more choices in ice cream flavors.
Congrats to kevin on his second win.
@Lou, there’s this one place that my daughter always buys her ice cream cakes but I don’t even know the name of it. Actually, one of her jobs when she got out of H.S. was at Ben & Jerry’s. LOL!! So I got to try some of those but truthfully, I am not one for fancy flavors and I don’t remember a single one fondly.
Here’s my total ice cream confession 😀 I like cherry vanilla and coffee ice cream and just plain vanilla so I can put chocolate syrup and maraschino cherries on it. I like ice cream sandwiches and Klondikes, too.
Congrats to Kevin on another solo FJ response!
I thought La Restaurante Splendide was more fun than the Hidden U.K. Cities. The players did quite well in both. I got that Isley Bros. clue 🙂

Dye-a-Fram, the G is silent in Diaphragm. 45/59 here. 31 Flavors isn’t necessarily a name for that company, so I’m not sure it would have been accepted.
“My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who’s going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it’s pretty serious.”
I wonder if 31 Flavors would have been accepted as a popular alternate name?
