Luke was mired in quicksand for much of the show but finished respectably. For Final, I briefly said Reagan then came to my senses and said JJ. First DD was a softball, 2nd one I blanked on the last word of the title. 3rd one was a mystery. These folks were too young to know whom Norman Rockwell painted for. All players did pretty well but Jamie was the best by far.
Rockwell’s covers were wonderful. I’m glad they had that clue and hope more people will look him up now.
In 1997 we visited a Rockwell museum in Rutland, VT (not the official one in Massachusetts). I bought a postcard showing one of his covers, a self-portrait maybe (I have it stored in a frame somewhere, will have to find it). I just looked up the place online, and it closed in 2021.
It was another fascinating game, but some of the clues were particularly tough. Anyways, I went with ‘Ronald Reagan’ for FJ.
