So glad he won! The champion had a funny smile, a little annoying.

  2. Howard says:

Not a great game, too many misses and blank stares. Several lame-o answers: “Hello, Mary” in the Entertainment by the Numbers category; Tess of the d’Urbervilles in the Barry category (and not a Thackeray work, to boot); and Mekong in the “I” category.

I thought all 3 DDs were pretty easy and I got Final in about 10 seconds. Tough one if you’re not big into sports.

Barely got the Barry CEO clue in time. Figured someone would know the warming dish.

  3. Marilyn Ahrenhoerster says:

Why did Ken say James would be back for tournament of champions?

    • VJ says:

Ken said ‘very likely,” Marilyn. If they don’t have enough 5x winners for the ToC, James will probably be at the top of the 4x winners in terms of money won. It sure looks like he’ll get in.

  4. VJ says:

Ryan O’Neal is probably rolling over in his grave at the suggestion that he played the title role in “Tess of the D’Urbvervilles” 🤣🤣🤣 (by Thomas Hardy, by the way).

I was kind of hoping Luke would win with his cute orange bowtie. Congrats, Luke!
