Thought the whole set of clues tonight was especially tough. They did well to get such high scores, especially Jesse who had the chutzpah to go all in on the three DDs.
I said Gore for FJ, but not for the reason Ken gave, which made sense. I thought it was because he formally conceded publicly after the Supreme Court ruled for Bush. Poor reasoning, but it worked.
Tough stumpers, too. Guessed the Wilde novel and should have known the Cain novel (I said “Double Indemnity”) because I saw that movie. Same story for the McQueen film, it was a real winner. I dumbly said what the contestant did, but I think that was a Mustang. Wasn’t familiar with the “late winter streets” term, but figured it out.
Ken said “boobage”!
I did better than average in the Jeopardy game tonight, ;but mistakenly went with Mitt Romney for FJ.
