    Bravo, Phil!

Excellent two time champion. Courageous strategy

  2. Jere Gauss says:

Logging this late, but I had “What is figure skating” immediately.

  3. Shelmae says:

This is my place of birth and was so thrilled to see this on Jeopardy last night

  4. Howard says:

One of many things I learned from my Catholic wife were the holy days of obligation.

Got the FJ with seconds to go once I remembered that compulsories were removed from figure skating around that time. That was a really tough final, though.

Was rooting for Natalie because I have a young friend who recently became a naturopathic doctor. Perhaps it would have ended differently had she known the Irish harp is a symbol.

Hard to believe not one player from 2 years ago knew TS Eliot wrote the poem about the cats with the funny names that became such a hit show.

  5. Matty says:

I misread the clue because I thought it was an entire sport banned. But why do 3rd placers always feel the need to bet almost everything? Stay put, it’s your only chance of winning.

  6. Quinn says:

I wish Natalie wagered less and won.

  7. Rick says:

I didn’t have much of an idea as to the type of sport in the final category, and obviously none of the contestants did either.

  8. VJ says:

Now I’ll have to find something besides Santeria for my Friday clip

    I don’t practice Santeria
I don’t got no crystal ball
Well I had a million dollars
    but I’d spend it all

  9. Lou says:

It seems that the contestants don’t even watch the Olympics since there are a lot of figure skaters like Michelle Kwan and Midori Ito. I think you know that they competed previously right VJ? even if Andy scored 1999 he could make a comeback tomorrow.

  10. Dal Higbee says:

$1,999 is the lowest winning score in regular-play since June 26, 2018.

  11. Ismael Gomez says:

Tough FJ as we got a triple stumper.

  12. JP says:

I thought the first Daily Double was very obscure, and I live not too far from La Crosse.

  13. Kevin Cheng says:

Today was a low win despite that triple FJ! making Andy wins the game with a dollar short than the player who finished receives second place prize. It’s actually the first time that the player who won the game with less than the second place prize. With $1,999 it’s like a good year that you party like it’s 1999 and we’ll see if Andy can try to it tomorrow.
