I was 3/3 on DD but missed FJ. Banks is the “Beer of Barbados”, but I always got a chuckle out of it when a guy told me, “If you’re on a raft, and you miss Barbados, your next stop is Africa!”

Final, on the other hand …. Neither my spouse nor I got it. We both said “Martin Luther”.

An interesting sidelight about Kelly Wearstler, the designer. As “Kelly Gallagher” she was a Playboy Playmate! I wonder if that money was the seed for her design business.

Good game with an unexpected finish. Smart wager by Andrew. Alison was out of contention after the first 2 clues. I noticed she’s now “originally” from San Jose. Not sure she used that status in past appearances. I honestly don’t know why game shows allow that “originally from” anyway, unless a contestant wants to try to avoid stalking by not stating their current city. I do know that Alison doesn’t use her surname on FB. I’m guessing she earned more for a semi loss than in the quarters.

Matt was true to ungrammatical form with his “Who James I?” answer.

Final too tough for me, as was the first DD. 2nd DD one of my favorite films. I blew the 3rd by saying Carrera instead of Carrara. Decades ago we bought some 2nd-hand coffee tables with very heavy, removable marble tops. I wonder if they’re valuable. Only stumper I knew was the young British person sent home.

What a game, and it subsequently evolved into a two way match between Matt and Andrew (while leaving Alison far behind). Well, I couldn’t think of anything else for FJ so I went with Edward the Confessor. Yes, it was a bad guess, but it was better than no guess at all.

Roger and Andrew are now a 2 time JIT finalist. It’s guaranteed that Andrew will be in Season 4 of Jeopardy Masters and Andrew’s bet of 38 is the Season 38 reunion with Matt and Andrew. They both appeared in Season 38 of Jeopardy!
