I think many men in their 50s and older on the show would have answered the Final correctly.

    • Howard says:

That was an EXTREMELY tough final. I knew it because I’m 69 and a sports junkie.
Although I’m not so sure too many of my peers would have known it.

Fun to have $9K in triple stumpers including the face value of missed DD’s and a correct FJ! and be able to win the game from the fourth podium

  3. Ismael Gomez says:

Tough Final Jeopardy as nobody knows about boxing.

  4. Lou says:

I heard of Floyd Mayweather but I am not quite familiar with the Queensberry rules. I know not a lot of people watch boxing but what were you going for as your response to this final, VJ? Rugby has nothing to do with boxing. Gauravi should have stayed with her original amount and not bet anything at all. And what is the Doug rules?

    • VJ says:

I knew the answer, Lou. I used to follow boxing years ago. (I wrote an article on boxing nicknames on here a while back.) I pretty much lost interest in it after the Sugar Ray Leonard / Roberto Duran “No Mas” fight.

The Doug Rules was just a wrong answer.

Are you aware that contestants make their wagers before they see the clue, and that they can’t change their wagers after seeing the clue?
