Josh found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “The Great Lakes” under the $800 clue, with just 4 clues left after it. He was in first place with $4,800, $2,000 more than Fred. He bet $1,000, and said Leclee and that was WRONG.

Fred finished in the lead with $4,800. Josh was second with $3,800 and Katherine was last with $2,600. No clues went uncovered.

Fred found the first Daily Double in “”H”istory” under the $1,200 clue on the 9th pick of the round. He was in first place with $6,000, $600 more than Josh’s lead. He bet $1,000. He said the Haitian War and that was WRONG.

Katherine got the last Daily Double in “19th Century Literature” under the $1,600 clue, with just 10 clues left after it. In second place now with $9,000, she had $400 less than Josh’s lead. She bet $2,000 and she was RIGHT.

Katherine finished in the lead with $15,000. Fred was next with $11,600 and Josh was in third place with $10,600. No clues went uncovered.

Josh said Cyprus. That cost him $5,000 and he finished with $5,600.

Fred’s response was also Cyprus. He lost $9,001, leaving him with $2,399.

Katherine got it right. She bet $7,801 and won the game with $22,801. Katherine is the new Jeopardy champ.

    Two players did indeed go with the other fairly plausible response. Understandable if focusing on the Ottomans, rather than WWII or the Berbers.
