VJ, I had to laugh out loud at Miranda saying “Mali”. I thought that that was rather “genre savvy”, as I’ve said before, that “Mali” seems to be a writer favorite. I mean, if you don’t know, say “Mali”! I got it right, anyhow.

Since they’re identical twins, I would expect that Ray’s brother sounds VERY similar to him.

I got the TS, but, not FJ!

    • VJ says:

ha ha ha, Jason … that reminds me of a couple of games, one where a contestant kept answering “Keats” in a poetry category; and another game in African capitals, a player wrongly guessed Praia more than once!

Oh, and then there’s Joe Montana — Rhonda and I decided that would be our answer to any clue mentioning the 49ers!

  2. Rick says:

I came up with Life Savers for FJ, but tomorrow is another day.

  3. VJ says:

Ray’s line about seeing “this face again” if his identical twin brother gets the call to be on the show was so funny. I have no doubt that we will be seeing his brother up there in the future. It’s great publicity for the show.

Kudos to Miranda on getting FJ! right.

    • Lou says:

Yes I agree that line is really funny I look forward to seeing his brother as well. Happy to see miranda getting this one. I am not really a fan of the candy that gets stuck on my teeth for a long time though.

    • rhonda says:

I wonder if his twin brother sounds like him, too?

      • VJ says:

        That would be spooky!

      • Jacob Ska says:

I wonder if he sways side to side like Ray does.

        • VJ says:

omg, Jacob! That is so funny! What if Ray’s twin bounces up and down? (I have never forgotten that game where Andrew Haringer was swaying back and forth and Choyon Manjrekar was bouncing up and down.)

        • rhonda says:

What if the two of them end up in the TOC together and play against each other?

        • Jacob Ska says:

Rhonda if they both end up on the same show, most likely in a tournament, I’m going to get dizzy. Last night I was getting seasick watching Ray swaying. Can’t wait until tonight to see if he still does it.

VJ, I remember that show. I also remember Alex Jacob and the good old lower back rub habit while taking his sweet time responding to a clue that had you going. 😂😂

At least these little idiosyncrasies make certain contestants memorable.

        • rhonda says:

Swaying Ray was still at it tonight, Jacob.

        • Jacob ska says:

Rhonda too funny. I just watched the show and saw it.
