The home of Charles and Catherine Dibble was first spotted by Grant Wood in 1930. When asked why he chose that particular house, “Wood said he found the window amusing and called it ‘pretentious’ for such a small house… The great windows Wood saw at the American Gothic House were believed to be for a decorative purpose. However, upon further investigation and probably not known to Wood, the window is hinged and was used to move furnishings either into or out of the upper floor, as the inner stairway with its tight corner, is not suitable for moving large pieces of furniture such as a bed or dresser.

yeah, Becci, that was cool.
American Gothic reminded me of the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da vinci during the renaissance era. That can be found in museums nowadays right, VJ? When was the last time you went to see American Gothic painting though?
Oh my family and I arrived in florida I am tired and beat after the long 15 hour drive. We didn’t stop for a hotel so we drove straight through to pick my brother up from georgia and then drove the remaining 9 hours here.
I have never seen that painting in person, Lou. I went through Chicago once years ago and we saw some police officers with a paddy wagon. I asked them to pretend to put my kids in the paddy wagon and let me take a picture of it and they did. 🙂 They were great about it. Unfortunately, the picture didn’t come out!
Hope you enjoy your time in Florida after you get some rest.
idk why Ben bet like he did. I mean, even if you aren’t good in a particular category, it doesn’t mean the other players will get it wrong and there’s always the chance the clue might be something you do know. Ah, well, at least the result would have been the same no matter how he bet.

And I don’t understand why Kate bet like that. She didn’t bet to cover 3rd place and would have lost by $200. had Denise gone all in. Oh well.
