Round 1: Ryan found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Mary, Mary” under the $1,000 clue. He was in second place with $1,800, $1,200 less than Marcus in the lead. He bet $1,800, a true DD, and he was RIGHT.

Marcus finished in the lead with $3,800. Ryan was second with $3,000 and Lisa was last with $2,400.
Round 2: Marcus found the first Daily Double in “Short Stories” under the $1,200 clue, 6th pick of the round and first pick in that category. He was now in the lead with $8,600, $5,000 more than Lisa in second place. He bet $3,000 and thought it was Baloo. That was WRONG.

Ryan found the last Daily Double in “Ceremonies” under the $2,000 clue. In the lead with $9,000, he had $200 more than Marcus in second place. He bet $9,000, making it a true DD again, and he was RIGHT.

Ryan finished in the lead with $19,200. Marcus was next with $14,400 and Lisa was in third place with $2,000.

He dropped cardboard ‘bombs’ on a crowded California-Washington football game at the University of Washington to prove that Americans were vulnerable to foreign attack.” They include one of the cardboard messages about “Protection Through Preparedness.”
Lisa bet $1,998 and that took her up to $3,998.
Marcus doubled his score, finishing with $28,800.
Ryan bet $9,601 and that gave him a buck more than Marcus so he is the new champ with a one-day total of $28,801.
Ryan Mewett is an executive naval officer, assigned to the U.S.S. Columbus, based in Pearl Harbor. He talked about a recent deployment to the Caribbean during which he got time ashore in Guantanamo Bay.

fwiw, the socks Lisa talked about would have went been the one to go viral today if I was there. When Alex said, “It’s fun being weird, isn’t it?”, Lisa replied “I try.”
