Playing in the last quarter-final match of the 2013 Teachers Tournament are: Michael Townes from Greenville, S.C.; Timothy Stuker-Haines, from Williamstown, MA; and Cathy Bloedorn, from Baltimore, MD.

Timothy found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “On His Presidency’s Secret Service.” He was in the lead with $5,000, $2,800 ahead of Cathy in second place. He bet $3,000 and he was RIGHT.

Michael found the first Daily Double in “Diseases.” He was in the lead with $11,600, $1,800 more than Timothy in second place. He bet $1,600 but did not know so he was WRONG.

Michael finished in the lead with $16,400. Timothy was next with $13,400 and Cathy was in third place with $6,400.

Cathy got it right. She bet $6,395 and finished with $12,795.

Timothy also got it right. His $7,000 bet brought him up to $20,400.

Michael just had a big question mark. He lost his $2,600 bet and ended up with $13,800.
