At first glance, I was thinking Jim Beam, but quickly came to my senses. None of the players knew what I only fairly recently found out: that Jack Daniel’s has an apostrophe.

Smart group tonight. They left a few of the gettable stumpers on the table (Christie title; Marlowe novel; bell tower). Connor’s 2 daring DDs proved too tough to catch up to. But that’s how you beat a tough champion.

You really think that the Christie title, the Marlowe novel, and the bell tower were easy? I’m a smart guy, and, I didn’t get them. I’m just sayin’.

Happy to see everyone getting final right. Also I hope Connor can get a streak going this week.
