2/3 on DD (said “Isherwood”, not “Marlowe”, and missed FJ. I thought, confidently, it was “Duke of Cornwall”. Oh well!
Dondi looked outclassed in both games. But, good for Ryan. Still, I do not think his chances are great.
It’s interesting that both Dondi and Abigail won their semifinals from the lead, while Ryan won his by default. It sure seemed like Ryan knew he had to tighten up his buzzer timing for the finals and he did so.
I’m not a big fan of the monarchy, but I said Duchess of Sussex, then changed it to Duke for no explainable reason. Final was anticlimactic because Ryan could not lose. Didn’t know the first DD, 2nd one (another near-gimme for Ryan on an all-in wager) was easy; guessed right on the third.
Got the fish market city. Thought I hit another stumper but don’t see anything here that I knew.
I noticed at the end that the runners-up got $15K each, Ryan got $35K and not his actual $58K+.
It’s interesting that Prince Harry is a direct descendant of the first Duke of Sussex, who was Queen Victoria’s favorite uncle.
