Drea de Matteo in Californication

Drea de Matteo wasn’t kidding that they might not have been expecting a totally plus size stripper when she was hired to play foul-mouthed stripper Holly in Californication. She really is quite, shall we say, busty.

Hank (David Duchovny) first meets Holly when he is trying to help Richard (Jason Beghe) get his wedding ring back from her. He paid Holly with the wedding ring after she shook her money-maker to an entire Guns n Roses album, Appetite for Destruction. Drea’s character, Holly, actually gives new meaning to the word trashy!

When Holly shows up to return Richard’s wallet, Karen (Natascha McElhone) sees them together and Hank pretends she is his girlfriend and things go from bad to worse!

Karen: So, Holly, you’re a dancer?
Holly: Oh, actually, Karen, no. I am a stripper. And I’m a realist. It’s like do you go to the cinema or do you go to the movies? I don’t know about you, but I go to the bleep-ing movies.
