Angelo said he knew the words to this song and the Dolly Parton number equally well. He also figured the Dolly Parton song would be easier but decided to go with the Charlie Daniels Band song in honor of all fiddle players. Angelo thought the missing words would be in the refrain but the 11 words were a long phrase from when the devil starts playing the fiddle and Angelo didn’t know a single one! He called upon Danil, his friend and backup singer, but Danil wasn’t into country music and could not even offer up a hint. Angelo used his last two backup words to turn over the first word (fire) and the 6th word (as). Angelo could see the handwriting on the wall. There was no way he could prevail so he bowed out with the $150,000 he already banked.

Angelo Santini is the third contestant to make $150K. Fletch Walcott made $150K in the season premiere and Nicole Kaplan did it in Episode 3
