Continuing Tamalyn’s run from 6/13, she has provided the missing lyrics to 3 songs

No. 2: Category/Song: Rock/“Sweet Home Alabama” (Lynyrd Skynyrd)
No. 3: Category/Song: Breakup Songs/“Before He Cheats” (Carrie Underwood),

She was in the middle of her 4th song.

No. 4: Category/Song: R&B/“Let’s Stay Together” (Al Green), 8 missing words for a guaranteed $25,000
“Lovin’ you whether, whether ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___”

Tamalyn used 2 of her words to check on the conjunctions (#4 and #7). Good thing! Now she is guaranteed to take home $25,000

No. 5: Category/Song: Duets/“The Boy is Mine” (Brandy & Monica), 8 missing words for $50,000
“I’m sorry that you ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___”

Tamalyn used her last word to check on word #4 in “are easily confused, baby can’t you see”. That was where the word “confused” belonged. Tamalyn called on her backup singer, Don, for help. Don thought he only heard the song once. In other words, he didn’t know the lyrics at all. Tamalyn chose to bow out. She was going home with $25,000 whether she took a shot at it or not but she just couldn’t figure out the missing phrase.

The only part of the song Sonny knew were the missing words. That was a big thrill.

“A scrub checkin’ me but his game is ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___”

Sonny could only come up with “kinda weak and” at first. He used his last word to check on Word #3. lol. Sonny called up his backup singer, Alec, for some help. We’re still waiting for a backup singer to save the day but, once again, it wasn’t happening. Out of the blue, Sonny came up with “and I know that he cannot approach me” to finish it up. He had no idea where that came from and just didn’t want to risk losing $50,000. So he walked away $75,000 richer. As fate would have it, those were the correct lyrics!

No. 1: Hip-Hop/“Baby Got Back” (Sir Mix-a-Lot), 3 missing words for $2,500
“I wanna get wit’cha and ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___”

Mary called her backup singer and bestie, Kristy, up to get her opinion on the lyric Mary was second guessing. Kristy was confident that Mary was right and they locked in the lyrics successfully. It was nice to see a helpful backup singer but that was way too early!

No. 2: Classic Rock/“Hot Blooded” by Foreigner
“I’ve got a fever of a hundred and three, come on baby, do you ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___ 🟪 ___”, 4 missing words for $5,000

Mary had nothing to add and she only had her 3 words to work with. She used them all on the first 3 words to come up with “do more than”. For the last word, she went for a rhyme with three and that gave her “do more than me”. Mary locked in those lyrics but, unfortunately, that last word was not “me” so Mary went home empty-handed.
