Chelsea Handler Defends Low Class Jokes

Sometimes we don’t get around to posting about something due to lack of time; other times we’re waiting for the other shoe to drop which was the case in the Chelsea Handler tasteless jokes about Angelina Jolie during her live performance in Newark, during which she called Angelina a homewrecker and the ‘c’ word and talked about Jolie’s kids.

We were betting Angelina Jolie would not respond to this tirade because she has class — something Chelsea Handler is totally clueless about. On her talk show, Handler has allowed that it might be a good idea for her to get some new material, but she says she has been “making fun” of Angelina Jolie since the time Jolie kissed her brother, James Haven, on stage at the Oscars years ago– even more years than the breakup of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.

First of all, yeah, when you have to go back to something that happened six years, it probably is time for some new material, and calling someone the ‘c’ word in the manner she went about it IS personal, no matter how much Chelsea Handler tries to play it off as a joke and making fun of someone. Finally, bringing the kids into it is beyond tasteless and just flat out low.
