Master Minds Recap: January 12, 2023

Here’s a recap of the clues on Master Minds (Season 3) for Thursday, January 12, 2023 with host Brooke Burns.

Today’s episode title: “Trivia, Smarts & The Melodica”
Today’s Master Minds: Mark “The Beast” Labbett, LaKedra Pam, Ryan Chaffee
Today’s challengers: Alex, Tracy, Matt

Matt won yesterday’s game and returns today to go for a second win. I obviously missed the change in the rules where a contestant only has to win two games and $20,000 to become a Mastermind. They clearly decided to give the players a better chance at that job! Matt may be the first contestant ever to benefit from the change, as well as the first to become a Master Mind.

The show’s format pits 3 contestants against each other and 3 Master Minds against each other. There are 3 rounds and the contestant with the highest score wins $1,000 and faces off in the Ultimate Trivia Challenge against the winning Master Mind. If the contestant beats the Master Mind, the prize money goes up to $10,000.
