Bunheads premiered with Michelle and Hubbell getting married and going to his house in Paradise, where his mother Fanny also lives.

Alan Ruck was Hubbell; Michelle is played by 37-year-old Sutton Foster; and 68-year-old Kelly Bishop portrays Fanny.

Truly (Stacey Oristano) was in love with Hubbell; Jerry Morton (David Burke) was his best friend and lawyer. He put all Hubbell’s assets into Michelle’s name right after Hubbell married Michelle and right before Hubbell died in a car accident.

Ginny (Bailey Buntain) and Melanie (Emma Dumont) are two ballet students in Fanny’s advanced class.

Boo wants desperately to be as good as Ginny, Melanie and Sasha, and Sasha never misses a chance to remind her that she’s not.

Claire (Kiersten Warren) is a real estate agent and also Ginny’s mom and Nanette (Jennifer Hasty) is Boo’s mom.

Charley (Zak Henri) is Ginny’s brother. Boo has a crush on him. Grant (Steven Eckholdt) is the multi-millionaire Michelle met when the vintage car she inherited from Hubbell broke down on his private road. We know he’s a multi-millionaire because he’s “Barry Manilow rich” and Barry Manilow is worth something like 70 million bucks.

Godot (Nathan Parsons) is the Oyster Bar owner’s son. He took a liking to Boo and Michelle. Carl (Casey J. Adler) is a student at the dance school. He took a liking to Boo, too.
