Bill Hudson’s Goldie Tell-All

The New York Post reports that Bill Hudson’s about-to-be released “tell-all” purports to give his side of the story of their messy divorce and his subsequent estrangement from his and Goldie’s children, Kate and Oliver. Bill, long with Brett and Mark, formed the Hudson Brothers, a popular singing group often on the cover of fan mags like “Teen Beat.”

The Post relates that Bill says his first date with Hawn was at a Chinese restaurant in 1975 and she was still married to her first husband director Gus Trikonis. Must be a mistake or typo, because Hawn and Trikonis divorced in 1973, at which time she had to fork over something like $75,000 being the more successful of the two. Then Goldie was married to actor Bruno Wintzell in 1973 and they divorced in 1975 (some sources say they just lived together).

Then Goldie married Bill in 1976. Goldie was taken to the cleaners again when they divorced in 1980.

Whatever, Bill married Cindy Williams (Shirley of Laverne and Shirley) after his divorce from Goldie, in 1981. They were married until 2000 and also had two children together.

So the real question seems to be why is he going back to write this book about his first marriage anyway?
