Acres of Diamonds Supporting Cast: Boardwalk Empire

Here are some actors who were in the supporting cast of the third episode (Acres of Diamonds) of Boardwalk Empire, Season 4

Sally Wheet – Patricia Arquette plays the owner of a Tampa speakeasy and roadhouse who gives Nucky the inside scoop on the climate in Tampa, and not just the weather.

Daughter Maitland – played by Margot Bingham. Chalky White is dumbstruck when Dr. Narcisse puts this star on his stage

August Tucker – Andrew Howard: You may remember him as “Bad” Frank Phillips in “The Hatfields and McCoys“. In fact, his line in “Acres of Diamonds” about people not calling him Gus if they wanted to stay friends was reminiscent of his Hatfields’ line about being called Bad Frank:

Perry Cline: You’re the one they call Bad Frank?
Bad Frank: Not to my face and not twice.

He lasted longer in that mini-series and even ran off with Johnse Hatfield’s wife. He was last seen in Boardwalk Empire with a machete buried in his head.

Kayla Ferguson (Doris) and Rae Gray (Claudia) played the two girls invited to the party with booze supplied by Will Thompson (Ben Rosenfeld) via Mickey Doyle (Paul Sparks).

Fredric Lehne played Owney Madden, New York gangster who runs the Cotton Club

Pearce Bunting was back as Captain Bill McCoy. He got himself in a heap of trouble when August Tucker’s scotch was seized while he was transporting it. He even went to jail. Now in debt to Tucker, he tries to “earn” his way out with a partnership involving Nucky Thompson, but that doesn’t quite work out so McCoy ends up doing Tucker in with that machete.
