Oh, and, AGAIN – Ken mangling Latin à la Alex, with the soft G in “cogito”! At least he’s consistent!

  2. Jason says:

This is true: as you may or may not know (and, MUCH more likely, don’t care), I usually watch J on the DVR. Last night, I was chatting with a guy who destroyed my ship (game I play). I asked him where he did his grad studies, and he says, “U Minn”. At that very moment, Final started. I immediately knew it was Duluth (but I don’t know why – just popped into my head). I just marveled at the coincidence.

And, the movie showing right now on TCM, “The Hard Way”, just mentioned… Duluth!!

Not surprised that these coastal “elites” didn’t know anything about the Great Lakes.

  4. VJ says:

A Stupid Answers category, a Before & After category AND a Reading Lyrics category all in the same game… What is overdoing it? 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for the Valentine’s wish, Lou.

  5. Rick says:

That was a tough FJ, and the city in question was obviously located on Lake Superior. Along with the three contestants, I couldn’t come up with the correct city either.

  6. Lou says:

Well, Dave isn’t playing like Amy Schneider so that’s a good sign and he isn’t betting a big bundle despite being in the lead. I think he will be here for a while given the amount of correct responses he racked up last friday and today. Given his strong performance, I think he has a good chance of getting a streak going. One triple stumper can’t hurt him in the long run. Go dave keep the streak of right responses going! Happy Valentines day to you VJ!

  7. Ismael Gomez says:

Tough final as we got a triple stumper to begin the week. As usual, nobody knows about geography.

    • Rick says:

Oh I’m sure that each one of the contestants knew quite a bit about geography actually, but let’s face it, Duluth isn’t the most popular city on the planet.
