I could have sworn the children of Zeus category with the question about centaurs was answered incorrectly. Centaur is half horse yet the contestant answered bull and was told he was right. Minotaur is half bull
Jen, here’s the clue: The Cyprian Centaurs actually had the horns of this creature that Zeus was known to transform into
They were half horse and half man but they had horns like a bull (a creature Zeus was known to transform into)
On a later clue, I was thinking they should add Perseus and Zeus to a Names That Should Rhyme but Don’t category
Did anyone catch Kelly making a gesture during the introduction sequence? What was that all about?
I noticed and i thought it was somewhat annoying and pretentious.
I saw it and that’s why he lost. I’ve noticed when contestants get full of themselves they tend to stumble and can’t think straight. They think they’re invincible and an unexpected opponent creeps up on them. I love the way Kelly looked at Dana when she won. The surprised look on his face was priceless.
There’s an uproar going on at a J-related Facebook group I belong to. Apparently his gestures are being interpreted as related to white supremacy. No confirmation yet.
Was there a live studio audience for today’s show? I hear the applause but i dont know if the applause is dubbed.
Albert, I think that when they start allowing studio audiences again, the camera will pan across the audience before a commercial break, the way it used to
For the third consecutive time in a row, we have a returning champion defeated after 3 wins. Under the new eligibility rules for the Tournament of Champions, the minimum of regular-play wins required to be eligible will now be 4 wins instead of 3.

I couldn’t help thinking that they could have clues for the places Dana and John are from (Tecumseh and Uncasville) in the City Origin Stories category (from yesterday)
Yeah I agree with you on that VJ. We should see more clues like that in future games of jeopardy.
That 5000 dollar bet from kelly was a bit costly and I would have loved to seek him getting 100K but that never happened. Oh well, hopefully Dana won’t have problems as she builds up her run.
Yes, Lou, that DD was costly for Kelly but also his incorrect responses. If I’m remembering correctly, he lost the rest of his money and was all the way down to zero when Dana landed on that last Daily Double!
He never got any momentum going. It’s rare, but sometimes a dominant player fizzles completely. Living in the Pacific NW, I was pretty sure that DD answer was George Vancouver. That was a tough one, though.
