WHAT IS THE CARPATHIA?
The RMS Carpathia was famous for rescuing 705 survivors when the Titanic went down in April 1912. Six years later, in July 1918, the Carparthia sunk after being torpedoed by the Germans. Five crew members died. The History Press has an excerpt from “Ships of the Cunard Line”, that tells how the wreck of the Carpathia was located.
We saw a similar clue in Final Jeopardy! (Historic Ships) in July 2019 and that recap has today’s FJ in it!
Eric bet it all and doubled his score to $20,000.
Chuck bet the farm, too. He finished with $32,000.
Leslie only bet $300, bringing her to an even $22,000. That made Chuck the winner and semi-finalist. Leslie and Eric were sitting pretty for Wild Cards.

This clue was similar to Jason Zuffranieri’s sixth game where no one knew the.answer to final jeopardy about the Carpathia. But I am glad everyone got final and it looks like Frank’s chances of advancing to the semifinals is in jeopardy. Still the movie Titanic brings back a lot of memories for us.
Frank’s chances aren’t in jeopardy, Lou. They’re kaput!
I think Jason Zuffranieri won the next Tournament of champions. Not a spoiler alert.
