The hardest clue this week was on Monday and the easiest on Friday, if we are going to go by correct responses. On Spoiler Talk, a couple of us did think Dresden in Thursday’s clue was a dead giveaway.

Justin Bender was the returning champ on Monday and he went on to win 3 more games, becoming a 4x champ. Alas! That 5th win has been notoriously elusive this season. Just look at the ToC list. Asim Modi’s lone correct response in Thursday’s FJ sent Justin home. On Friday, Asim lost to Tim Aten, who cleaned up with a $35K win. We haven’t seen a one-day total like that since Margie Eulner Ott ended Seth Wilson’s run on October 5th. Coincidentally, her FJ bet was $17,000, too.
