He was in the lead with $2,200 when he found it, but in a reverse ruling, Jonpaul was awarded $2,000. That put Jonpaul in the lead with $3,800 and Andrew was now $1,600 behind him. Andrew bet $1,600 and he was RIGHT.

The Fluke: Right before Beth got that last DD, the $800 clue in “Hyphenated Words” was: “Historically, these Germanic people lived in & ruled England & Wales until the Norman conquest.” Andrew rang in and, forgetting hyphenated, only said Saxon. He tried to correct it too late (Alex already said no). So Beth picked it up and supplied the Anglo- part.
