Round 1: Adam found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Notorious” under the $600 clue on the third pick of the round. He was in the lead with $400, $200 more than Julia in second place. He bet the $1,000 allowance but did not know so he was WRONG.

Adam and Dom finished in a tie for the lead with $3,800 each. Julia was next with $3,000.
Round 2: Julia found the first Daily Double in “Art & Artists” under the $1,600 clue on the fourth pick of the round. She was running the category and was now in the lead with $5,400, $1,600 more than the guys who still had $3,800 each. She bet $2,000 and she was RIGHT.

Adam found the last Daily Double in “Tech Logos” under the $800 clue. In second place with $9,000, he had $4,800 less than Julia’s lead. He bet $2,000 and he was RIGHT.

Adam finished in the lead with $13,000. Julia was next with $11,800 and Dom was in third place with $3,400.

Ernest L. Thayer wrote the poem “Casey at the Bat: A Ballad of the Republic, sung in the year 1888” in that same year. He used the pen name “Phin” and sold it for $5.00. That Incredible Game-Changer! This $2,000 clue in “Louis XIV” was the last one played in Double Jeopardy! right after Adam’s Daily Double. “In 1674 Louis met, liked & ennobled this explorer who 8 years later put the King’s name on Louisiana.” Julia had $13,800, Adam had $11,000 and Dom had $5,400. Dom rang in first with DeSoto. Julia went with Ponce de Leon and Adam got it right. Goodness gracious!
