Supporting Cast of The Kalamazoo: Ray Donovan

Here are some of the actors who appeared in The Kalamazoo, the first episode of Season 3 of Ray Donovan.

Leland Orser played Thomas Romero, a Servant of the Paraclete who ministers to broken priests. He is obviously investigating dead ones, poking around to find out who made the report about the dead priest buried at the Ruth Goldman Ovarian Cancer Center.

Ian McShane is a bigwig named Andrew Finney and Jason Butler Harner is his assistant, Varick Strauss. He made Ray sign an agreement before he could meet Finney and told him to keep the pen. Ray made use of the gift later in rescuing Finney’s son from drug dealers.

Chris Browning made a one-time appearance as a pimp named Gary who was mistreating and planning on kicking out Fairuza Balk’s character, Ginger, and her young daughter, Audrey (Shree Crooks). Mickey Donovan drugged Gary and dumped him in the pool and when Gary got his next business call on his “Hail to the Chief” cell phone, Mickey took it, and he is now in the pimping business. So Gary is another dead body we can credit to Mickey, who also murdered Sully Sullivan, Van Miller and the wrong priest when he was trying to kill the priest Ray Donovan killed.

Bronson Pinchot played Flip Brightman, who owes Ray Donovan $2,000 (or his addict does) for getting him out of that mess with the Korean sex business owner turned extortionist who wanted $6,000 for some photos she threatened to turn over to Marty Grossman (Jay Thomas) at Stalkerazzi. Ray proved that Flip is a “nobody”. Deb called Ray twice while this was going on, once from Ezra’s phone and the second time, after Ezra died. Ray ignored both calls. Jeanette O’Connor played Mrs. Rosenblatt, the president of the complex association. Like Ginger, she is attracted to Mickey.
