5x Jeopardy Champ, Brennan Bushee

Best Contestant Story of the Week: You might say it was a hoot! On Wednesday, Kevin Ruby shared the details of a hair-raising encounter with an owl from his marathon training days: “I was running by a cemetery at 5 in the morning and I was attacked by a giant barred owl.” Kevin said the owl presumably mistook his hat for a squirrel, plucked it off his head and dropped it into the cemetery. He said he picked up his hat and “that’s when my life become sort of a horror movie for about 2 minutes!”

So, we’ve had 13 out of 15 correct Final Jeopardy!s this week. Very impressive! I don’t think that record will ever be broken and we’ll see if 5-time champion Brennan Bushee can turn himself into mega-champion Brennan Bushee tomorrow, on my mom’s 58th birthday.
