Supporting Cast: There’s the Rub – Shameless
In the regular recaps, we often have to leave a lot of stuff out and that’s the reason for these Supporting Cast posts — to be able to highlight a part that we liked that didn’t make it into the recap.
In There’s the Rub, the fifth episode of Season 4 of Shameless, Roger Running Tree showed up at Sheila’s house to get started on building a sweat lodge where they could detoxify Frank Gallagher’s (William H. Macy) rotting liver. Roger brought 5 kids with him, his nieces and nephews, Gary, Ben, Sarah, Denise and Dale. After Gary told her his name, Sheila asked what his Indian name was. “Gary,” he deadpanned. Later, after she made the kids native American food, Gary told her his name was One Eyed Snake and Ben’s named was Stinking Wind.
Ben asked Gary why he was making up names like that. “Because she’s crazy,” Gary said. Ben reminded him that she cooked food for them. They’re both right. Gary was played by Tai Urban; Cullen James McCarthy played Ben and Izabella Alvarez was Sarah. Anybody know who played Dale and Denise?
