We saw some familiar faces in the season opener: Tyler Jacob Moore as Officer Tony Markovich, who found Frank Gallagher in terrible shape in a crack house and brought him home. Maile Flanagan returned as Fiona Gallagher’s team leader, Connie, at her new job at Worldwide Cup.

Svetlana’s back. Her take-home pay is a big disappointment to Mickey Milkovich. Adam Cagley is a new face as Lip Gallagher’s new roommate at college. Apparently, his girlfriend, who doesn’t like Lip, comes with the room and their extracurricular activities keep Lip awake.

Danika Yarosh plays Holly, one of Debbie’s friends who has all kinds of ideas and advice on how to hook up with guys. Lynn Ann Leveridge plays Nancy Pratt, the mom of Fiona’s new boyfriend, Mike, who is also her boss. Fiona met some members of Mike’s family at a Chicago Bears’ football games. Mike thinks she’s a keeper if he’s introducing her to his family already, right?
