Jack Nicholson Makes Big Impression on Jennifer Lawrence

Jack Nicholson is quite the Joker, isn’t he? While ABC’s George Stephanopoulous interviewed Jennifer Lawrence, the newest Best Actress Oscar recipient, a 3-time Best Actor winner chose to drop by and offer his compliments.

75-year-old Jack Nicholson popped by to remark that Lawrence did a “beautiful job” and said he would love to interview her. The 22-year-old star of Silver Linings Playbook jokingly chided Nicholson for being rude. He told her that she looked like an old girlfriend. Amused, Miss Lawrence quipped, “Do I look like a new girlfriend?” Nicholson responded that he’s thought about it and then before leaving, laughed “I’ll be waiting.”

When Stephanopoulous proceeded to continue the interview, he asked what Jennifer would remember most about the evening. “That,” she exclaimed, gesturing that she meant what had just transpired between her and Nicholson.

Nicholson has been nominated for 12 Best Actor Oscars. His three wins were for his performances in As Good As It Gets (1997), Terms of Endearment (1983) and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975).
