Alex Rodriguez Fails to Hit Baseball, Hits Up Model Instead

After being benched for hitting a robust .130 in the post season, New York Yankees 3rd baseman Alex Rodriguez found a creative way to pass the time while riding the pine.  It turns out A-Rod spotted a heretofore unknown Australian Model named Kyna  Treacy conveniently sitting in some pricey seats behind the Yankees’ dugout at the October 13th ALCS game  against the Detroit Tigers.

A-Rod then used one of baseball’s tried and true methods of obtaining her phone number.  He had a baseball delivered to her with a note containing his phone number, and she replied with hers.  No word on when they will hook up.

Treacy, who, among other things models her own swimwear line, is capitalizing on her 15 minutes of fame.  According to the New York Post, she’s applied to appear in a commercial for a New York strip joint, and we don’t mean a steak restaurant.

In other Sports/Sex news, an amateur soccer team in Larissa, Greece that is short of cash has found some >new sponsors to support the team.  The names of “Villa Erotica” and “Soula’s House of History” now are seen on the team’s practice jerseys.  The ads are for two local brothels run by one Soula Alevrido, who says she’s doing it because she wants to help out the local team. Soula really doesn’t need to advertise, noting that her business is based on “word of mouth”.  Greece is having some serious financial troubles as a nation, and as the civic minded Soula observed, “If we don’t help our scientists and athletes, where will be?”  Where indeed?
