This was the best week in Final Jeopardy! we’ve seen in a long time. It started out slow with 1 right on Monday and a triple stumper on Tuesday, but everyone got FJ! right the rest of the week. The self-help book clue on Tuesday was really the hardest. I think the easiest of the last 3 clues was the “Faithful” opera. It comes up quite often in Opera categories and there’s also the Latin angle.
This week’s winners:
Mon 4/13/26 $18,600 Jamie Ding
Tue 4/14/26 $16,400 Jamie Ding
Wed 4/15/26 $23,000 Jamie Ding
Thu 4/16/26 $35,000 Jamie Ding
Fri 4/17/26 $30,000 Jamie Ding
21x champ Jamie Ding returned on Monday, having surpassed half a million last week. He beat Chris Pannullo’s 21-game record that day and passed Mattea Roach’s 23-game record on Thursday. All of Jamie’s games were runaways this week, which was a good thing because he did not get Final Jeopardy right on Monday or Tuesday. Still, the $123,000 he made this week wasn’t the most he made in any full week. It was actually the least. His past 3 week totals (going backwards) were $129,617, $170,581 and $146,599. When you add in the $22,633 he won in his first game on Friday 3/13/26, Jamie’s 26x winnings comes to $732,000.
In addition to the $123,000 won by Jamie Ding, an additional $25,000 was paid out in consolation prizes: $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for third place each day.
Here is the SCIENCE-ING AT HOME category from Tuesday’s game.
