WHO IS LEON TROTSKY?

Considering Leon Trotsky the biggest threat to his power, Joseph Stalin had his nemesis deported from the Soviet Union in 1929. Trotsky was granted asylum in Mexico and settled there in 1937, but that wasn’t good enough for Stalin. NKVD agents were sent to kill Trotsky in May 1940 in an outright attack on his home. When that failed, Spanish Communist Ramón Mercader was recruited to infiltrate Trotsky’s inner circle. He became trusted to the point that he was alone with Trotsky on 8/20/1940 in the study of Trotsky’s Mexico City home. Mercader struck Trotsky in the head with an ice axe, a specialized tool used in mountain-climbing. Trotsky died the next day.

After surviving the May 1940 assassination attempt, Trotsky wrote this article entitled “Stalin Seeks My Death”.

Kevin had no response. He bet and lost his whole $5,000.

Jamie got it right. He bet $8,360 and won the game with $36,360. Jamie did it! He’s won over half a million with an 18-day total of $530,372.
