HELL’S KITCHEN, THE MUSICAL (Alicia Keys presents the clues) ($200) In Hell’s Kitchen, you don’t need a Stein or a Strad to make music; Ali’s love interest plays drums on buckets and she joins in for this song that says she’s a flame (sung: You can try, but you’ll never forget her name / She’s on top of the world / Hottest of the hottest girls, say

($600) A new song about opening up the world, “Kaleidoscope” was the theme song of this sporting event in 2024, and in late August Shoshana Beam made the trip from “Hell’s Kitchen” to Queens to sing at the opening night

($800) Along with new songs, the show re-imagines some of my classics, like this breakout hit from 2001 about a love with so much pleasure and so much pain; it has new instrumentation and a new seductive tone and it’s sung by a dude (sung by the dude: “Lovin’ you darlin’, makes me so confused”

LITERARY CHARACTERS ($2000) He’s the aging butler who narrates & reflects upon his life in “The Remains of the Day”

I shall say it again: Alison is SO charismatic! She should have her own show!

She posted on FB last year that right around the time her shows aired, she got laid off from her job at the movie studio and was seeking new employment. No idea what happened next.
