Wed, Apr 30 – Correct answers: 2
BUSINESS & TELEVISION: This TV show that debuted in 1960 licensed its name 8 years later to a childrens’ health product that’s still around today show

Thu, May 1 – Correct answers: 2
THE STAGE: Their show ended its off-Broadway run in 2025, after 34 years, 17,800 shows & 82,150 gallons of paint show

Fri, May 2 – Correct answers: 0
BOATS & SHIPS: Nearly a century after her 1851 sporting triumph, she was a rotting hulk finally scrapped in 1945 show

There were 2 triple stumpers this week. I didn’t think Tuesday’s clue was that tough but I would advocate for narrowing down such broad categories as 20th CENTURY FIGURES. In this case, LAW ENFORCEMENT would have been far more helpful. Friday’s stumper had a helpful category but I have to wonder what percentage of the Jeopardy! audience follows this sport and knows its history.

Of the 2 clues that got 2 correct responses, I’m giving the nod to Wednesday’s clue for easiest clue. The childrens’ health product was around twice as long as the off-Broadway show.

This week’s winners:
Mon 4/28/25 $29,600 Erin Morin
Tue 4/29/25 $24,999 Ben Ganger
Wed 4/30/25 $16,816 Ben Ganger
Thu 5/01/25 $34,600 Ben Ganger
Fri 5/02/25 $20,000 Ben Ganger

Erin Morin put a stop to Liam Starnes 6-day run when she made the sole FJ! solve on Monday. She had a good-sized payday too, so no one can say she didn’t make the most of it even though she lost her second game. Ben Ganger took over for the rest of the week. 3 of his games were runaways! No one got FJ! in 2 of those games. You can tell which ones by his scores!

The top prizes totaled $126,015. Jeopardy! also paid out the usual $15K in consolation prizes. Erin got $2,000 of that.

Here is the Novel category from Tuesday’s game.
