Knicks Conclude Hot January with 118-103 Win Over Jazz
Donte DiVincenzo scored 33 points and Jalen Brunson added 29 as the New York Knicks beat the visiting Utah Jazz 118-103 on January 30th for New York’s eighth straight victory. The Knicks also completed their January schedule with a record of 14-2.
Josh Hart had an interesting triple double for the Knicks, with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Isaiah Hartenstein had a double double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Twenty-seven of DiVincenzo’s 33 points came on nine three point baskets. Collin Sexton led Utah with 22 points and Keyonte George came off the bench to score 15.
New York improved to 31-17, good for third overall in the Eastern Conference, behind #2 Milwaukee (32-15) and Boston (37-11); Philadelphia (29-16) is right behind. Looking ahead, New York has two games left with Boston, one with Milwaukee, and three with Philadelphia. An odd quirk in the Knicks’ schedule is the fact that they play three of their four games against Chicago in a 13 day stretch in April, including the season ending game on April 14th. But I digress. Of more immediate interest is New York’s next game which is February 1st at home against the high scoring Indiana Pacers.

Great night for Donte. He was on fire. Couldn’t miss. Warriors loss when they let him go and a big gain for the Knicks. The Knicks are definitely having a better season so far than the Warriors.
