It was yet another week without a Final Jeopardy! clue that everyone knew. There were 2 clues that no one got and 2 clues that 2 players got right. It’s really hard for me to judge the hardest clue. 2 players got the only one that I didn’t get– Friday’s Oscar-Winning Actors. 2 players got the clue that was the easiest for me– Wednesday’s 19th Century Literature.
4x champ Megan Wachspress won her 5th game on Monday and another name was added to the Tournament of Champions list (and a 4x winner was dropped). Megan won again on Tuesday but lost to Jeff Weinstock on Wednesday. Jeff won his second game on Thursday. Joe Feldmann sent Jeff home on Friday. Megan had the week’s lowest payout on Monday and Joe had the highest on Friday. We’ll be looking for Joe at the first podium when Monday rolls around.
Here is the MOVIES INSPIRATION category from Tuesday’s game.

Similarly, on the week of June 4th, 2018 – June 8th, 2018, that week started off with a payday of less than $1,000, and then, things improved for the rest of the week. It started off with a small payday of $599, and it ended with a big payday of $31,600. This week, it started with $401, and it ended with a payday of $22,900. Sometimes, we get weeks like that, where we have a week that starts with a small total, but things turn around, and we end with a big payday, and I do remember seeing a week where the exact opposite happened. 1 week started off with a big payday of $32,800, but then, things went downhill, and it ended with a small payday of $2,399. Sometimes, it happens that way, too.
