Great play Lisa although we will see you in the tournament of champions. Also VJ I remember learning about Hades since reading about the Odyssey by homer. How much do you know about Pelagus and Tantalus and what are their roles as Greek gods?

    • VJ says:

not much, Lou. I don’t know if Pelagus is even a Greek god. Tantalus, it says here, was the son of Zeus so that would make him the nephew of Hades and Poseidon. I know the word tantalize is based on his story

Great winning streak Lisa. See you in the TOC.

In the category “African American History” I was surprised Malcolm X was valued at $2000. I may be wrong but don’t most people recognize his photos? An easy $2000 imo. The contestants had no problem with the category. Very easy clues.

I guess they were too young to know what saddle shoes look like.

Li$a was a great winner. We’ll see you in the future.

  5. VJ says:

Well, I wished Lisa would have bet more on her Broadway Daily Double, but in the end I don’t think it mattered, because whenever she had close competition, she liked to bet it all, amiright?

Unfortunately, a strong finishing run by Lisa is what did her in. In this case, second was the better position to be in. Yet another example of how the player in second should not bet it all.

We’ll see you later in the Tournament of Champions, Lisa.
