Wrong Way Alec Baldwin: Not Just Biking

Actor Alec Baldwin, more famous these days for wild outbursts than anything else, allegedly went off on a New York City police officer who stopped him for riding his bicycle the wrong way on Fifth Avenue and 16th Street on Tuesday, May 12.

In Touch Magazine reports that Alec got hinky because he didn’t have any identification on him to show the officers and he demanded that they just give him a summons. Instead, he was given two: one for riding the wrong way on a street and another for disorderly conduct.

After being released, the 56-year-old actor took to twitter to vent some more: “Officer Moreno, badge number 23388, arrested me and handcuffed me for going the wrong way on Fifth Ave.”

Strange that he says himself he was arrested because a “source close” to Alec later told In Touch that Alec was not arrested.

He also tweeted: “New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign.” Well, everyone knows that whatever the police can give you a ticket for, they will so if you are dumb enough to do something you can get a ticket for, at least be smart enough not to mouth off and get yourself another ticket!

We’re just shocked that he’s back on Twitter. We thought he stormed off Twitter for good a while ago.
