Stephen Curry Hits Nine Three Pointers in Warriors’ 122-103 Victory Over Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers let a victory on the road get away from them in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, but Game 2 was never in doubt. Stephen Curry hit an NBA Finals record nine three point baskets and the Golden State Warriors cruised to a 122-103 win over the Cavaliers on June 3rd in Oakland.

Curry scored a game high 33 points. Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, the other two of the Big Three for Golden State, scored 26 and 20 respectively. LeBron James led Cleveland with 29 points and 13 assists, and Kevin Love scored 22 with 10 rebounds. Cleveland scored just 18 points in the second quarter, and trailed at halftime 59-46. The Cavaliers got to within seven points early in the fourth quarter, but the Warriors pulled away and out of sight after that.

Cleveland will try to make a series out of it at home in Game 3 on June 6th.
