Supporting Cast: Strangers on a Train – Shameless

Here is the supporting cast from Strangers on a Train, the fourth episode of Season 4 of Shameless:

Gideon Emery returned as the professor that was giving Lip (Jeremy Allen White) a tough time in the last episode, and continues to do so in this one, refusing to let Lip into a mid-term for being six minutes late.  In this episode, we find out his name is Professor Moss and towards the end, we also find out he may be the one who will be instrumental in helping Lip get on the right track.

Alex Borstein played Lou, an attorney who is going to get Frank (William H. Macy) some money for that broken leg his son Carl (Ethan Cutkowsky)  helped him get.  Is anyone wondering whether Carl recorded his ingenious solution for youtube after all?

Kai Caster played Seth, a young boy who has been doing Holly’s (Danika Yarosh) bidding in the hopes of getting a quickie in the bathroom. A frustrated Debbie (Emma Kenney) offers him one after her advances are rejected by her older boyfriend, Matty (James Allen McCune), but she can’t go through with it. Maybe Seth will be her boyfriend now. At least they are in the same age range.

Svetlana Efremova played Sasha, who runs a Russian cathouse. Mickey Mikovich (Noel Fisher) staged a labor strike, pulling all his Russian hookers out of Sasha’s place, but that didn’t faze her one bit. She got a fresh new crew at a discount and told him his girls were tired and stretched out.

Rosalind Chao played the doctor who informed Frank that, without health insurance, he would have to go on a list of patients needing pro bono transplants and it could take years before his name came up. Alternatively, he can come up with $150K (see Lou). Where have we seen Rosalind before? She played a “tiger mom” in an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent called “Cadaver” a few years ago.
