Supporting Cast: Refugees – Shameless
Here are some of the actors who were in the supporting cast of Shameless: “Refugees”, S6 E5 (1/31/2016), and here is a link to the episode recap.
Michael McMillian plays Tyler Wexler. Last week, we featured Ever Carradine as his wife, Erica because we thought that Tyler would have more scenes in this episode, but actually Erica did. Most of them were with Frank (William H. Macy). Debbie (Emma Kenney) is now living with the Wexlers. Per Frank’s instructions, Debbie went about letting Tyler know that she was there to take care of his needs, too. But it was Erica who hopped in Debbie’s bed, after revealing her love for Melissa Etheridge to Frank earlier. Frank forgot to mention that little tidbit to his daughter. Somebody better tell those two that Debbie is only 15.
Reed Emmons played Sean’s son, Will, who was last seen in South Side Rules, heading out-of-state with his mom, Nikole. At that time, Will was being portrayed by Jackson A. Dunn.
The credit only revealed two of the little actors playing the Myanmar refugees that are staying with Kev (Steve Howey) and V (Shanola Hampton). When V made them take baths, she found out that one of them was actually a little girl (played by Peyton Elizabeth Lee) who has racked up quite a body count for one so young. Ryan Phuong played the boy who helped Carl with the gun. Nick and Carl have got themselves a little army now.
Carl (Ethan Cutkowsky) made an appointment to see an upscale apartment with a real estate agent, played by Lia Mortensen. Tired of Carl trying to be all hood, V went off on him earlier, telling him: “I’m getting tired of this minstrel act. You think cornrows make you black? 400 years of oppression make you black. And if you keep up this wigger act I’m gonna reverse George Zimmerman your ass, feel me?” And weren’t we happy to see Carl get his comeuppance? Yes, but it was short-lived. It made no impression on him at all. He just added it to his repertoire and told the real estate agent that she would have to go through 400 years of oppression to know who he is.
Tyler Jacob Moore returned as Tony, the policeman who used to have a big thing for Fiona when he lived next door to the Gallaghers. Now, much to the surprise of Ian (Cameron Monaghan), Tony is now gay. Tony was last seen in Simple Pleasures
