Supporting Cast of Tulip: Ray Donovan
Here are the some of the actors who were in the supporting cast of “Tulip”, Ray Donovan, Season 3, Episode 8.
Michael Hyatt appeared as LAPD Detective Sheila Muncie. The last time we saw Michael, she was dead as a doornail in the August 2nd episode of “True Detective”, probably thanks to that no-goodnik, Kevin Burress. Here she is playing a law enforcement officer again, who hopefully will not come to such a sorry end. But whoa, look at who she is dealing with. She wants Mickey Donovan (Jon Voight) to work with the cops against the Armenian Power Syndicate. And she shut Mickey’s operation down just to twist his arm. Cornering Mickey has just not worked out for quite a few folks, including an FBI Agent.
Cletus Young played the old man who came over and asked Mickey Donovan if he played gin rummy. Why they threw that in there, we’ll never know. Cletus and his buddies also do a little lawn bowling but Mickey had no interest in that either, and not just because of the weight of the deep doo doo he was now mired in. Mickey is just not a gin rummy, lawn bowling type of guy, and you would think Cletus would already know that, as a male resident of the complex.
Stewart Skelton played Windsor, an employee at the Finney mansion. Skelton has actually been in this season in one other episode (Swing Vote) but we don’t think he said anything then. In this one, he had the unpleasant chore of canning Varick (Jason Butler Harner). He told Varick that Andrew Finney (Ian McShane) was cutting ties and that he would find the terms fair, and said: “You’re a capable man. You’ll land on your feet.” Alas, poor Varick. He landed up in a body bag in that hole Ray (Liev Schreiber) and Avi (Steven Bauer) dug.
Mickey’s girls, who are now out of a job at least at that location, were played by Sushana Watkis (as Alex), Char Sidney (as Mercedes), Christy Williams (as Michelle), Sasha Wexler (as Jade) and Skyler Shaye (as Cindy).
And let’s not forget Aaron Staton, who continues to play Bridget’s calculus teacher, Mr. “don’t call me Greg” Donellen. His heavy medications were introduced as a reason for his poor judgment in letting this kid crawl all over him. You wonder if there’s a few teachers watching who had to deal with persistent students saying “oh no, dude!” when he let her in his house.
