Trouble’s at your door, Ray, and we don’t mean Pepper the dog

Natalie James just knows all about Ray, doesn’t she? She knows where his office is. She knows where he lives. We’re sure Ray is her No. 1 emergency number. Sooner or later, it should come out how they know each other. In the meantime, there’s a little matter of her husband’s dead body.

You’re leaving me for the security guard?

Too bad we won’t get to see more of Natalie’s husband, Rob (Rhys Coiro). He was a thoroughly despicable character. He should have just turned over the dog to Ray. Now he has the dubious honor of being the first corpse of Season 5.

It was all fun and games until the hair remover got pulled out

Cathryn Dylan played London, the hooker at Sheri’s Ranch Brothel who stole the heirloom engagement ring that belonged to Terry and Ray’s mother. Did you notice that before Abby and Ray got in the room with London, she was calling her husband “Rex.” In the room, however, she said Ray’s name when she asked him if London’s hair was pretty. Abby then presented London with the prospect of baldness in her immediate future. The angry harlot spilled that the ring was in the Midol container right away. It must have been a much more traumatic experience for London than it was for Terry. Bet she didn’t agree to the Dominatrix package for quite some time.

I just came to the wedding to start a brawl

Billy Miller plays Todd Doherty, the police officer brother of Terry’s bride, Maureen, who is a cop herself. He objected to the union of the ancient Irish Donovan and Doherty families because of the Donovans’ criminal histories, but since he must have made his displeasure known to his sister and the rest of his family before the actual event, he should have stayed the hell home and not ruined his sister’s special day. You’re not a nice person, Todd.

Damon gonna knock you out

Damon (Dominique Columbus) had a big tattoo on his chest with the bible verses from Galatians 2:20-21— “I have been crucified with Christ…” Damon sure has come a long way from his purse snatching days. We don’t know who played his opponent, Juan Valenzuela. We only know that was his name because it said so on his boxing shorts.

Abby’s auditory hallucinations led to hiring an exterminator

Does that look like Steve Buscemi to you? That’s who the credits at the end of the episode said played the exterminator. But really, who dat?

And what’s dis? Is Liev Schreiber telling us that this is the last season of “Ray Donovan”?

Some folks are saying he’s talking about the end of filming Season 5, not the end of the series altogether, but dude! Don’t scare people like that!
