Supporting Cast of Baby – Ray Donovan

Here are some of the actors who were in “Baby,” (12-30-2018), the tenth episode of “Ray Donovan,” Season 6. The episode recap is here.

Some guys got Bianchi and took him out of O’Donoghue’s.

Gerard Cordero played Big Al, one of Mayor Feratti’s henchman. He was helping Radulovic with the kidnapping of Bridget Donovan. They took her to a house in Staten Island and made Mac McGrath watch her. Mac was also tasked with informing Ray that they had his daughter and that Ray had to make sure the recording of Feratti ordering a hit on Judge Scholl was not released. (How Mac knew about the recording at all is a mystery to us.) Ray and his crew (Mickey, Daryll and Smitty), retaliated by kidnapping Danny Bianchi. Bridget and Mac were relocated and Big Al stayed at 274 Rosemary to wait for Ray. Big Al snuck up behind Ray and was about to blow his brains out but Mickey snuck up behind Big Al and pulled the trigger first. Apparently, it wasn’t fatal. He is listed in the cast of the next episode on IMDB.

What’s going on here?

Robert C. Kirk played Lou, the bartender, (maybe the owner) of O’Donoghue’s. This is actually the sixth episode he was in since the bar has been the setting of various meeting between Ray, Mac and other cops. Here’s an article on LoHud.com about the real O’Donoghue’s, which is actually in Nyack.

Susan Pourfar played Tribune reporter Melinda Getkin. She has also appeared in this season before. She was the reporter in the Season premiere who tried to talk to Ray about getting arrested with Fetu Autufuga and being taken to Staten Island. Ray talked to Sam Winslow about it so he knew that Sam owns the Tribune. Then Ray dispatched Fetu, making it look like a drug deal gone wrong so Melinda had a different story. In this episode, she was ordered by Sam Winslow to publish a story about the Mayor’s instructions to kill Judge Scholl and Sam didn’t give a damn about Melinda vetting the story.

Other notes: We didn’t see hide nor hair of Emerson Lake in this episode so it does seem like a foregone conclusion that he’s “sleeping with the fishes.”
